The Lakeview Community Association is pleased to offer its facilities for rent to both members and non-members. The hall offers two facilities for rental: the main hall and the multi-purpose room. The Main Hall is ideal for large meetings, seminars, social and recreational events. The Multi-Purpose Room is suitable for small, informal meetings, arts & craft sessions, craft sales etc.

Main Hall

The air-conditioned Main Hall is wheelchair accessible and can accommodate up to 158 people. It is approximately 1500 sq. ft. (58 x 26 ft.) with an additional 500 sq. ft. (22 x 21 ft) separated by folding doors. The hall is decorated with warm neutral colours, which compliment not only the open-style cedar ceiling but also the stone hearth for the gas fireplace. There plenty of windows that fill the hall with natural light and give views of shady trees on the south side, and trees, grass, playgrounds and school playing fields on the north side. The 250 sq. ft. kitchen has ample counter space for food preparation . There is a stovetop and oven, 2 refrigerators, a microwave, dishwasher, dishes, coffee urns etc. Outside the kitchen door is an area suitable for barbecues. meetings, arts & craft sessions, craft sales etc.

The Main Hall can be rented for many different occasions, such as:

Multi-Purpose Room

The Multi-Purpose Room is separate from the Main Hall with its own entrance, can accommodate 30 people and has a kitchenette which includes a refrigerator, sink and microwave. The Multi-Purpose Room is ideal for children’s parties and has ready access to the community ice rink and playground which can add a special feature to a child’s birthday celebration.
