Please join us for a Special General Meeting
of the Lakeview Community Association

Saturday, March 3

10 am

Connect Charter School

5915 Lewis Dr. SW

The Lakeview Community Association has agreed not to take an official position on 37th Street access until we hear from residents of Lakeview.

You will be voting on the following revised motions (revised Feb. 28, 2018):

1. Do you support the LCA exploring and pursuing alternative options with the province that pertain to 37st access north of the 5600 block?

2. With potential for increased traffic volume on 37st (south of 5600 block) we the residents and members of Lakeview request that the city applies the same rules to 37st as they do to any other residential street in Calgary? Do you agree?

This vote would give the Lakeview Community Association a position on which to represent the residents of Lakeview but would in no way guarantee a specific outcome.

Meeting schedule:

9:30 to 10 am:                   Purchase memberships, obtain ballots and enjoy refreshments

10 to 11 am:                       Information session and questions and answers

11 am:                                Call to Order of Special General Meeting

11 to 11:15 am:                  Vote on the motions

11:30 am:                            Adjourn

Everyone is welcome to join us, but only members of the Lakeview Community Association who reside in Lakeview are officially eligible to vote at meetings of the association. Visit to purchase your membership or come early to purchase a membership at the door.

With apologies for the inconvenience, there will be no opportunity for proxy voting or voting before or after the March 3 meeting.
