Saturday, May 17 is Lakeview's annual clean-Up day. That is the day you can get rid of all that unwanted stuff at our neighbourhood clean-up for free!

TIME: 9am to 2pm
PLACE: LCA parking lot, 6110 34 St.

Volunteers are needed to help clean up the green spaces and to collect unwanted items from the lanes and back alleys. If you have a truck or trailer, that would be great. We also need people to help unload all the cars and trucks that show up. Teenagers are welcome!

This year we are having metals and electronics recycle bins from Technotrash, along with the regular packer trucks. We can accept washers, dryers, microwaves, stoves, etc... We cannot accept propane tanks, smoke detectors, tires, paint, thermostats and ballasts. Almost anything else is fair game to be thrown into the trucks that will be there to crush the junk.
