50 Faces of Lakeview

Lakeview resident Scott Blasen, who served as president of the Lakeview Community Association from 2005 to 2008, has launched a photo initiative called "50 Faces of Lakeview." The initiative is meant to celebrate what was and is so attractive about Lakeview and to celebrate the people we call our neighbours and friends.

Look for Scott and other volunteer photographers walking the streets and parks of Lakeview asking to take your picture and capture your thoughts of what it means to live in Lakeview.

This initiative will serve as one of a number of ways to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Lakeview Community Association in 2016.

If you are a photographer and are interested in participating in this project, please email Scott at 50faces@chinookarchphoto.com.

Here are some of the questions Scott and other volunteers will be asking Lakeview residents:

  1. Where did you live before making Lakeview your home?
  2. What drew you to live in Lakeview?
  3. What do you like about living here?
  4. What do you do for fun?
  5. How would you describe the personality of Lakeview to someone from outside our community?
