About Lakeview

For more information phone: 242-8660 or
email info@lakeviewcommunity.org

The community of Lakeview is located in southwest Calgary along the north shore of Glenmore Reservoir. The gently rolling landscape provides glimpses of Glenmore Reservoir and the Elbow River Valley. The Tsuu T'ina First Nations community is located directly west of Lakeview.

The community began to develop in 1962, six years after being annexed
to the City. The most predominant form of development in Lakeview is single family residential
dwellings. The boundaries are defined as follows:

North: Glenmore Trail
East: Crowchild Trail
South: Glenmore Park
West: 37th Street SW*

*By agreement between the Lakeview and North Glenmore Community Associations, either Community Association can draw memberships from the area encompassed between Crowchild Trail and 30 Street SW.
